5 Способов Заработать На Музыке В Интернете

Нашел тут интересную статью "Five ways to sell music online". Переводить с буржуйского лень, поэтому выкладываю как есть:
Статья, мягко говоря, не первой свежести, но тем не менее, кое что интересное для себя почерпнуть можно.

Two of the biggest dilemmas confronted by budding musicians and singers are with regard to the kind of websites and ways in which they can sell music online.  Unfortunately, a large number of these talented but inexperienced musicians make the erroneous assumption that the only viable way of promoting money online is by getting their records sold on the web.
The fact remains that not many musicians are able to make money this way because the internet is not a mall where anyone can set up a retail store. Furthermore, sale of records does not even account for a major chunk of the money earned by music powerhouses and independent musicians. Therefore, it becomes imperative that artists learn the basics of selling their music online to get a foothold in a marketplace that is unforgiving and incredibly competitive at the same time.
Young artists who are yet to sell an album or even a track online could consider using the following steps to utilize the internet in a manner that is befitting of this wonderful technology.
Hook up with a retailer: If you have created a music album are looking to find ways to promote it, consider hooking up with an online digital retailer such as CD Baby. However, don’t restrict yourself to just one online retailer as there are tons of quality online retailers out there. You can go with as many retailers as you like, but ensure that they infringe upon your musical rights.
Use a Music Service: Other worthwhile avenues include music service such as TuneCore or Zimbalam. Artists who have a web presence can also look forward to selling music directly from their website although they’d do well to hire the services of technology/SEO experts to help them do that.
Sign up with a Digital music licensor: This is an important step for new artists and shouldn’t cost any money too. Apart from that, they must also try and sign up for a performing rights society and network as much as possible within the musical industry. Befriending a music lawyer wouldn’t hurt, either.

Get Tech Savvy
:  If you want to make it big in the online arena, you’d better start getting used to the ways of the web, especially Web 2.0. Make it a point to be a voracious social networker use your social presence wisely.

Save Money
:  Do not spend money on things that you can do yourself, such as promotion, publicity and networking. This will also help you get hands-on experience on these steps.
